New Baby

I got an email from Kodie yesterday. She had a baby girl on May 23. Her name is Amber Catalina, she weighed 8 lb 14 oz and was 19" long. She has lots of dark hair. Kodie said they are having fun with her. CONGRATULATIONS Kodie and Shane!!
Nikki also sent me an email a little while ago. Her and Joel and the kids have moved to Ohio. I have their new phone number and address, I will try to get an updated Directory to you all soon. If there are any more updates, please let me know. THANK YOU!!!!
School is OUT!!! I finished up the school year, officially on friday. I had 6 kids graduate on Monday, May 21st. It was so exciting but sad to see them move on.
John and I just celebrated our 3rd wedding anniversary on Sunday. It is so exciting to know we have been married for 3 years and we have a beautiful baby, too.
Shiloh is growing leaps and bounds. It is fun to see what she can do next. I have been teaching her some sign language and the other day, John was changing her diaper and she kept hitting her chin. John asked why she was doing that. I told her she must be signing "MOM" that is how I taught her to say MOM!! I hope to continue teaching her more sign language!
Hope all are well, and I look forward to seeing some of you this summer.
LOVE YA,

Wow, how time flies right on by!! Shiloh is almost 5 months old and growing up too fast. She is so much fun! I am looking forward to school being out in 14 more days.... but who's counting. It will be fun to stay home with Shiloh.
I am keeping really busy with work, being a mom & wife and starting my vinyl lettering business. It is hard to juggle sometimes but worth it. If you want to order any vinly from me send me and email or call me.
Hope all of you are doing good. I have put the Moulton Family Directory back onto my computer, so if you have any updates, send them to me.

Deaflympics 2007

Well....Jamy, Stephen and I had a BLAST working with the Deaflympics the first part of February. It was definitely a once in a lifetime opportunity. We were able to meet MANY Deaf people from around the world. We learned many signs in many different countries. Okay...the picture on the right is the wrong way....but I couldn't figure out how to turn it! UGH! Anyway....this is Jamy and I with Walter Gretzsky. (For those of us who are clueless....he's Wayne Gretzsky's father - the hockey player). Canada supports any HOCKEY and Walter was a NEAT guy and was signing autographs for anyone. He was proud of the Deaf Canadian Hockey team (although USA beat them and got the gold)...he was still happy and proud of the work they did. We interacted with Walter many times and had a great time getting to know him.

This picture on the right is Jeff Pollock and his wife. They are from Salt Lake City and the wife works with Jamy at the Salt Lake Temple. Jeff is not a member, but supports his wife tremendously! Jeff won two bronze medals for snowboarding and has decided this was his last Deaflympic. He has competed in two prior to Salt Lake. Neat couple and we were happy with his wins! Here Jeff is sporting his two medals at the Closing Ceremony and Farewell Party. We had a blast altogether at the Farewell Party but it was hard to say goodbye to new friends as we will most likely never see them again in this life. But it was still worth the time off and volunteering hours!
Keep us posted on the news!

Jason is 60 !

We celebrated my Dad's 60th Birthday yesterday - had Andy, Me, Barrett, Angela, and all of our kids together. It's amazing that at his 50th birthday only Taylor was here and was just a baby - now there are many kids running around.

It is great to hear from you all -

Queens...anyone?

I wonder if any of your girls have to dress up as "Queens".... around here...it's a must! Thought it would be fun to show some pictures.

Here's Gabby.... she's got what it takes to be a Queen....a DRAMA QUEEN...that is! And...she'll admit it! She is VERY dramatic about EVERYTHING, but that's her personality! She can be quiet...but most of the time... she's just extreme! We love having her around to cheer us up and to make us laugh! She's a good girl!

Next, is Morgan...she started out being mellow when she was born, but now we think we named her mistakenly....maybe she should have been "Gabby" since she talks up a storm ALL THE TIME! But she's another GREAT addition to our family and we love her for it!
Mallory doesn't really dress up much anymore since she is growing up...plus she's gotten taller and so the dresses don't really go to the floor anymore. She's into Junie B. Jones books and anything she can find at the library! She LOVES to read!
Alright....how do we encourage all the other cousins to hook up on this blog so we can find out more?? I'd love to hear from you all!
Keep in touch!

We are all doing well but would like it to warm up. Shiloh is growing so fast, I can't believe she is almost 6 weeks old. She is lots of fun. Her personality is changing daily. We are lucky, she is sleeping 6-7 hours at a time at night. Which is a blessing since I am going back to work on the 1st.
Would love to hear how everyone else is doing. I got a card from Nikki the other day. She seems to be doing well. They will be up here in July!!!!

Stay warm,
The Sumners

My request for HELP!

Hey.....I was just set apart (a special calling) as a "MA" for the upcoming Youth Pioneer Trek which will be in July in Wyoming....I could use some help on some creative ways to lose weight and exercise! I need to lose a few pounds (maybe 20 - 25) and need to find some time to exercise with the busy Mommy schedule....HELP!

Any creative/smart ideas will be great! I could also use some recipes!! Send them my way if you can! (email - mommy@reudter.org)

Also, I've found out yesterday that Jonathan and Jennifer had their baby girl EARLY! Her name is Brooke and I believe she was about 5 lbs. 7 oz (not for sure!!)...and she was born on December 29th (in time for the tax deduction!!) but was about a month early. Fran says everyone is doing well. So...just thought I'd help pass the good news along.....

And....I heard something about Kodie being pregnant and due in May....they tried to see what the gender is....but...darn! The legs were crossed! Did anyone outside the Larry Moulton family know this??

Is there anyone else that is expecting???

Keep us posted! This is a great site...we just need to recruit the rest of the 944 relatives!! (According to Aaron's posting of the sign!!)

Love you all! Come to visit Utah, but not now!! We're FREEZING and pipes are starting to burst in various buildings/homes, etc!!!

Moulton - There are at least 944 of us.....

Found this one day - thought I would share.....
Good to hear from you all - we need to get the rest of the cousins signed up.
Hope you are all doing good - we are expecting strong winds then snow tonight.... Seattle weather this year has been about as bad as I can ever remember, wind, ice, snow, and lots of rain. I'm going camping with the scouts this weekend and the highs aren't supposed to get above freezing for the next several days... should be good fun :)

Heber

Well as some of you may know, and other may not know, i am now up at BYU-Idaho going to school. I am looking forward to going to a real school. It is very cold and snowy in Rexburg but i will have fun learning to enjoy it. On my way up, i spent a night in Provo and on Sunday after church, I had the opportunity of driving to Heber and having some wonderful memories brought back to my memory. So attached are some pictures of the house. It's not like it used to be but the memories for all of us will always be there. Have a good day and i will talk to you all later, bye.

Kira's update

Hello everyone! I thought I'd take a turn to fill you in on our family. We've had a fun and busy past few weeks getting ready for Christmas and enjoying ourselves with family and friends. We truly feel blessed to have so many wonderful people in our lives. Our Christmas vacation started a few days early this year because of a bad wind/rain storm on Thursday, December 14th. The wind knocked out our power for a few days and really woke everyone up as to how prepared we all are for emergencies. We were lucky to only have the power out for a few days. Others were out for over a week! Even if you had a generator to get you through the hard part was finding a gas station open, with gas and power! (Minor details!:)) But we survived and are now more fully stocked and prepared for the next wind storm. The kids go back to school on the 3rd! We moms hope so, at least, so we can somehow regain our sanity!

We have had a wonderful Christmas. We spent Christmas Eve with some close friends and had a yummy dinner. Then we headed home to our own traditions and family time. Christmas day was fun and the kids played hard! Aaron (also a kid!) played with his remote controlled helicopter and airplane until many of the pieces were broken! We were able to visit with Barbara and Jason at their home along with Andy and Emily, Derek, Angie and Scott and girls, and Barrett and Beckie and kids. It was fun to see them all.

We spent this past week relaxing and not doing a whole lot! It was wonderful! I haven't looked at my calendar in a week or so. When we get back into our "schedule" it will be a shock! We are heading over to a friend's home for New Year's Eve tonight so that should be fun. The kids all think they will make it until midnight but we'll see! I'm thinking they'll have to carry Aaron and I out to the car! We haven't stayed up late in quite awhile! We wish you all a happy new year and hope you enjoy yourselves! Make some good goals!
Love, Kira

Update from the Reudter Family

Well...since I have now figured out a few things with this blog site....I thought it would be fun for me to see if I can upload some pictures for you of the kids. They are all growing up fast as I am sure yours are too! Mallory is getting excited to turn the magical "8" in May and is looking forward to her baptism in June (on the 2nd to be exact!! - she's telling EVERYONE!). Gabby is enjoying Kindergarten but has a little trouble keeping quiet and listening to her teacher (her name fits??) but we are working on this! Morgan is just trying to keep up with her sisters. She loves being at home with Mommy, but when the girls are home, they play together and Mommy has to find other things to do.

Jamy is still working at ADP and loves it. He loves the team members he gets to work with and some of his co-workers are starting the "Biggest Loser" among the team beginning January 1st. So I will be joining him too....both of us would like to lose some weight and eat better than we are now. Any recipe ideas will be GREATLY WELCOMED!!

Me....well, I have been the YW President for a year now and finally starting to get a hold of things. The YW consists of 10 YW with about 4-5 joining us during the year 2007....we will be planning Girls Camp for August really soon and will be involved in a Pioneer Trek in July. So we have a lot of things going for us. I am now working at nights (an on-call basis) from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m. at the Bountiful Temple. My job is to clean with a team of about 10 -12 people. I LOVE IT! It's fun to be inside the Temple and to make it clean for the next day for the patrons to enjoy!

Last, but not least....Stephen lives with us too! He's been here about a year now....he is currently working at Snowbird and seems to like his job. He is a good help with the kids and around the house when he is home...which sometimes feels like he is out with his friends more than he sleeps...but he's enjoying himself.

Oh yeah (NEWSFLASH!!!)....we will be having an addition to our growing family in the spring (not a baby!!) but a puppy! We have decided to get a puppy and have some friends who will be breeding their cocker spaniels in the spring, so we'll get the pick of the litter when they arrive! I'm excited to train the puppy to bark at the door and garage so I can know when someone is here....sometimes I can't hear the door or the doorbell (depending on where I am in the house), so this will be fun. Plus I'VE ALWAYS WANTED A COCKER SPANIEL!! I think they are cute and the right size dog to add to the family!

We'll see if I can get some pictures up too! The first picture is Gabby in her Christmas dress for this year.

This is a picture of our family at the Days of '47 Handcart Parade float preview. This is a fun activity (and it's FREE) that you can walk through the South Towne Expo Center and look at the floats that will be in the parade close up. They even let you pick your favorite float as part of a contest. The background for this is the DELTA Airlines float. They were taking the pictures and then giving you a card for you to upload it onto your computer. It was fun!
I think this Blog thing will be a fun thing to read often, if we get the rest of the Moulton gang to join up! Thanks Aaron for taking the time to do this and get us all involved! Let's keep it going. I'll try to add something often! So check back often!

Sumner Family

Hello everyone! As you probably have heard, we have a new addition to our family. Shiloh was born on December 8th weighing 8 lb. 1 oz and 21 inches long. She is now 2 weeks old and a lot of fun. It has been a change for John and I but it has been a wonderful change. I am able to stay home with her until February 1st then I am going to decide if I want to go back to work or not. John is staying very busy with work and he is the 2nd counselor in the Y.M. and works with the scouts. I teach the 9-12 year old girls in primary.
Thanks to Aaron, those of us who want to keep in touch can!! We love to know what everyone is doing. It is hard to keep in touch with everyone, when we are all over the U.S.

Love,
The Sumner's

Aaron Moulton Family

I was speaking with Catherine today and it had been a while since we had caught up with each other - We were able to talk about her new baby and I enjoyed finding out about all she's been up to. We are hoping that you can all use this as a way to keep in touch. If everyone would post a quick note and picture or two each month this could be fun... This is set up so you all have access and if I can figure out how to do this none of you should have any problems...

Aaron Moulton Family Update - Our family here has been busy as always. I am doing well at work and closing out a good year but with that I've been busy and my stress level is a little high. I'm also the second counselor in the bishopric which take a little time as well. I enjoy this calling and still spend a lot of time with the youth. Kira is also always busy, the kids keep her running around, she volunteers a lot at the school, and spends her remaining time at the gym or keeping the house together. Taylor is 10 and luckily received the majority of his genetic make up from Kira's side. He is a super student, reads all the time, and is a really good kid. Brian (8) was blessed with more Moulton traits. He is a great kid but has a lot of energy and we will just leave it at that. Katie (5) is just a sweetheart but she is starting to develop a little attitude (from her mom's side!) . She keeps herself busy playing on the computer, scrapbooking, or playing with friends. She is in Kindergarten this year.
